OAK PARK FRIENDS MEETING EAGLE WATCH: Jan 26. 2013

Overview – on cold winters when the river freezes, Eagles congregate at the dam to feed providing easy viewing.  If the river is not frozen, the eagles are more dispersed, so we will see fewer.

The last weekend of Jan – Starved Rock State Park and the IL Waterways Visitor Center (across the river) offer activities to encourage visitors.

This will outline a loose plan w/ some known options – Friends are welcome to join us for as much or as little as fits their interest and are welcome to improvise off the loose plan.
